Hi! I know there’s a few posts about this configuration but i couldn’t find what im searching for.
I think my setup isn’t complicated.
I have HAProxy configured in TCP mode, and as a result, it does not forward the client IP addresses to the RDS server. My goal is to capture the client’s public IP address in the event viewer of the RDS server, especially for detecting brute force attacks.
I want to pass the client IP through so that the RDS server security events show the actual client IP.
Is there a way to achieve this, maybe some configuration examples?
