Hi
This question is regarding logging.
When haproxy emits “ALERT” or “WARNING” to the log, there are no timestamps. This makes life more difficult when filters (e.g. grep) are used to find such events and isolate the time of the problem.
Is it possible to configure haproxy in a way that it will add timestamps to such events?
Example:
# cat access.log | egrep 'ALERT' | head -1
[ALERT] 039/120255 (1115) : backend 'ServerFarm' has no server available!
We are using haproxy 2.2.8. on CentOS 7:
# haproxy -vv
HA-Proxy version 2.2.8-7bf78d7 2021/01/13 - https://haproxy.org/
Status: long-term supported branch - will stop receiving fixes around Q2 2025.
