Connection failure with transparent proxying

Hello,

I have setup haproxy with transparent proxying. The backend server is a remote desktop gateway. Its gateway is the haproxy host.
The configuration is working well for most of the clients, but some clients fail to connect.
When the connection fails, the TLS client hello is received by the proxy but not emitted to the backend server. The connection then fails with a timeout (termination state “sC” in the haproxy log).
I could not determine the exact cause of the failure. It seems to be related to the source IP of the connecting client because if I change the source IP (with an SNAT rule on the router in front of the proxy), all connections succeed or fail depending on the chosen IP.
Is there something wrong with my configuration or did I miss something?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
