We’ve got a few servers that are still running HAProxy 1.5 that I’d like to upgrade to the latest LTS version. Can I go straight to 2.4 from 1.5 or should I upgrade to 1.8 first?
Bring up a server with 1.8 and pass the configuration file, you’ll see the warnings about the deprecated options, after that, do the same with 2.4.
