Kindly provide documentation for HA proxy to be used for NAT64 from V6 VM to connect to V4 VM
Haproxy doesn’t know anything about NAT64. It either connects to a IPv6 address, or and IPv4 address.
In your case, it would be a IPv6 address.
I got something http://haproxy.1wt.eu/download/1.4/src/haproxy-1.4.11.tar.gz which can be used as mentioned here; http://www.koopman.me/2011/02/haproxy-for-ipv6-translation-to-ipv4-only-website/
But, its not running for ubuntu…so not sure how to make it work
First of all, please do not blindly follow blog posts from 9 years ago, using tarballs - also from 9 years ago, unless you are interest in running software with a decade of bugs and security issues.
Please install haproxy from your OS repository. However please also understand that this forum is about haproxy, not about generic Unix/Linux support.
Second of all, the blog post has nothing do with NAT64, so I don’t know what you are trying to achieve.
In this forum we can help you with specific technical questions regarding haproxy. However we will not walk you trough every single step of the installation and configuration process.
