I have a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite and running NGINX on it right now as a reverse proxy. Suddenly started acting odd for RDP traffic so thought I would try HAProxy. Right now I have NGINX running ON the EdgeRouter so no traffic rules just listening on port 443. I don’t like it that way as it gets partly wiped when upgraded so trying a separate VM for this for HAProxy. So it’s running, seems to be showing OK in stats. Other than shutting down NGINX, what else do I need to do? Figured just setup a port forward for 443 to the HAProxy IP address but it doesn’t seem to be responding or receiving traffic. Thoughts?
